Sawsan Najmey, MD, FACR, FACP is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatologist. Her Practice, MidState Rheumatology Center, PA is located in Ocean and Monmouth Counties. Dr. Najmey offers a comprehensive care for Rheumatology and Osteoporosis Patients. Dr. Najmey is certified clinical densitometrist in bone density testing. She is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology; A member of the International Society of Clinical Densitometry. Dr. Najmey has written several publications in scientific medical journals, has been a keynote speaker for several presentation and lectures in the field of Rheumatology and Osteoporosis.
Dr. Sawsan Najmey is a specialist in diagnosis and management of diseases including but not limited to: Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid, Lupus and related Autoimmune Rheumatologic disorders, Psoriatic Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Fibromyalgia, Polymyalgia, Gout and other painful musculoskeletal conditions like back pain neck pain, shoulder pain, tendonitis and Bursitis.
Her comprehensive treatment approach includes up-to-date medical and nonsurgical therapy
utilizing infusion therapy for rheumatic diseases as well as local joint and soft tissue injections.
Dr. Najmey has received awards of recognition for her research in Rheumatology. Dr. Najmey has more than ten years’ experience in Rheumatology and Osteoporosis. Dr. Sawsan Najmey is affiliated with CentraState Medical Center.
KKathy Geller is an American Council on Exercise Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Fitness Trainer specializing in exercise programs for people with arthritis and osteoporosis. In her role as an Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program Trainer and volunteer speaker, she continues to conduct leader training workshops and arthritis related presentations throughout New Jersey. As a former NJ Chapter staff member, Kathy was responsible for overseeing all Arthritis Foundation exercise programs and instructor training workshops as well as conducting educational outreach throughout the state.
During her time on staff, Kathy was a member of the National Arthritis Foundation Exercise
Program Issues Workgroup which was responsible for revising that program in 2009. As an Arthritis Foundation volunteer, Kathy continues her involvement on a regional and NJ Chapter level serving on the Northeast Region Program Committee, NJ Chapter Major Gifts Committee, NJ Chapter Board Development Committee, and Advocacy Ambassador. Kathy currently is Vice Chair, NJ Chapter Board of Directors.
Michele Ansbacher is Vice President of the Eastern Territory in Agency Distribution, Prudential’s nationwide sales organization with revenue responsibilities for approximately 1000 sales professionals. She is responsible for the oversight of 14 agencies in the Eastern U.S. including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Eastern Pennsylvania, Maine, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
Prior to her appointment as Eastern Territorial Vice President, she was vice president, Corporate Compliance and Corporate Chief Ethics Officer at Prudential, where she was responsible for the company’s Global Business Ethics & Integrity program and Corporate Compliance functions, including
securities monitoring and regulatory filing, public official activities reporting, gifts and entertainment, anti-corruption activities related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, compliance training, and policy and marketing review.
Previously, Ansbacher was vice president of Field Support, responsible for supporting Agency Distribution’s approximate 2,500 producers and financial planners. In addition she was also responsible for the financial |professional programs, including practice building, private office support, field and recognition programs, financial planning and product/manufacturer management. She also served as Agency Distribution’s business ethics officer.
Ansbacher subsequently served as vice president, Planning and Analysis, for Prudential’s U.S. Consumer Group, responsible for business management and financial planning and forecasting.
Ansbacher also served as vice president and chief quality officer at Prudential Investments. She then served as vice president, Operations and Systems, in the Marketing and Customer Management area where she developed Prudential’s pilot for a multi-product customer center. She later moved into Agency Services, where she managed the successful merger of the two retail sales channels.
Ansbacher began her Prudential career as a management intern and assumed increasing responsibility leading to various management positions overseeing marketing, strategy development, business transformation and operations.
Ansbacher holds a B.A. degree in economics from Montclair State University and her M.B.A. degree in finance from New York University. She serves on the board of the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, heading the Strategic Planning Committee. Ansbacher serves on Montclair State University’s Business School Advisory Board; in addition she serves as Chairwoman of the Professional Development Committee. She is also a member of the Executive Women of New Jersey, GAMA Distribution Management International and National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
She lives with her husband and two daughters in Summit, New Jersey.
Patty Ostaszewsi – Chief Executive Officer has enjoyed many years of employment at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Toms River. She was originally hired as the Evening Nursing Supervisor in 1989, promoted to the Chief Nursing Officer in 1992, and assumed her role as Chief Executive Officer in 1996. Patty values the team with whom she works at HealthSouth and appreciates their talent, professionalism and contributions to delivering high quality patient care.
Patty brings more than 30 years of health care leadership experience to her role at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Toms River. During the initial 11 years of her career, she worked at Bayonne Hospital as a RN on a Medical-Surgical Unit, Intensive Care, and Emergency Department. She became the Director of Ambulatory Services, and opened the hospital’s first ambulatory surgical suite for colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures. At Bayonne Hospital, she was also responsible for occupational and
employee health services, as well as the WIC Program and Infection Control.
Based on HealthSouth’s company structure, Patty had various levels of responsibility. She was promoted to Vice President with oversight of HealthSouth Toms River, eight ambulatory surgery centers, and seven outpatient rehabilitation locations. Patty had the opportunity to participate in several start up projects and led the initiative for the CON approval for HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Tinton Falls. She also assisted with the acquisition and transition of HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Vineland.
Patty holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from New Jersey City University. She is also a CRRN (Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse) and LNHA (Licensed Nursing Home Administrator). Patty uses her clinical background to set high standards for patient care. She is actively involved in the American Hospital Association’s Governing Council for Long Term Care and Rehabilitation, and served as the 2012 Chair. Patty is also the Vice- Chair of the New Jersey Hospital Association’s HealthPAC Committee and a member of NJHA’s Rehabilitation Advisory Council. Additionally, she is a member of HealthSouth’s National Nursing Advisory Board and participates with many local community organizations.

Patty is happily married to her husband Ted, who is an elementary teacher. Together they have two beautiful daughters. Patty’s dedication to healthcare has helped to shape their desires to pursue healthcare professions. Her oldest, Lindsey, is a practicing registered nurse and her younger daughter, Jennifer, is completing the Occupational Therapy Program at Seton Hall University.
