John Nigro is the President of Nigro Companies, a commercial real estate development and management company based in Albany, New York. In 1974, he began a career in the real estate business, which was to eventually become Nigro Companies. Nigro Companies owns and manages many commercial properties throughout northeastern New York State and Massachusetts, specializing in shopping centers.
Mr. Nigro is a board member of Siena College, the Albany Medical Center, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, United Way, the Albany Symphony Orchestra and 15 Love.

Richard L. Uhl, MD
Richard L. Uhl, M.D., is an orthopaedic surgeon who is known locally, nationally and internationally for his expertise in surgery of the hand. He has pioneered and taught many techniques to restore function in the hands for patients affected by conditions like arthritis and other neurological disorders as well as for trauma and sports injury patients and those with carpal tunnel syndrome..
Dr. Uhl serves as the head of the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery at Albany Medical Center, and as a professor of surgery and residency program director for orthopaedic surgery at Albany Medical College. Additionally, he practices with Capital Region Orthopaedics/Bone & Joint Center in Albany.
He earned a B.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia in 1984. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at New York University Medical Center and a fellowship in hand surgery at Jefferson Medical College.
Through his leadership, research, and published writings, Dr. Uhl has made significant contributions to the field of orthopaedics for more than three decades. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Association, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the New York State Society for Surgery of the Hand, and the Orthopaedic Trauma Association.
